Hands-Free Solo Play: A Guide to the Suction Cup and the Vac-u-lock

There is one solo-play secret that changes everything: freeing your hands. When the toy no longer depends on your wrist, you can focus on moving, on the rhythm and on enjoying yourself without contorting. Here we explain the two ways to get there: the suction cup base and the Vac-u-lock system.

1. The Suction Cup Base: Your Toy, Stuck Wherever You Want

A suction cup base fixes the toy firmly to any smooth surface: the wall, the floor, the shower tiles or a mirror. The beauty of it? You no longer hold the toy: you move on it, at your own pace and in whatever position you like.

2. The Vac-u-lock: Swap Toys in Seconds

The Vac-u-lock is a standard connection system (a ridged cavity) that lets you swap toys on the same base, harness or machine. Instead of one accessory per toy, you have one base and you “plug in” whichever piece you fancy. It is the standard used by harnesses and sex machines, so if one day you want to make the leap to a machine, you are already halfway there.

3. How to Mount It Properly (and Safely)

The suction cup only truly grips on a smooth, clean, dry surface. Workshop tricks:

• Clean and dry the surface and the suction cup itself before sticking it on.
• Press firmly for a few seconds to push the air out.
• The shower wall or a tile are ideal: smooth and easy to clean afterwards.
• Do a grip test with your hand before going all in.

4. Ideas to Make the Most of It

On your knees with the toy on the floor, standing against the wall, sitting in the shower... With your hands free you can combine it with another toy, with lube (water-based, remember) or, if it is your thing, blindfold yourself to amplify the sensations. You are in charge.

5. The Usual: Look After It
