Your first dildo and a thousand doubts? Easy. Using it well isn’t about force or speed: it’s about choosing well, lubricating plenty and taking it slow. In this guide we take you by the hand (quite literally) through your first time.

1. Before You Start: Choose Well

Half the success lies in the choice. Three things:

  • Size: start modest. Better to fall short than to overshoot. We help you in the size guide.
  • Firmness: to begin with, a medium firmness adapts without losing presence.
  • Material: make it body-safe platinum silicone, pore-free (no cheap TPE). The why is in the materials guide.

2. Lube: Non-Negotiable

Lube isn’t optional, it’s what makes everything glide without discomfort. With silicone toys, always use water-based (silicone lube damages them). We break it down in our lube guide.

3. Relax and Take It Slow

Set the mood, spend time warming up (caresses, foreplay), breathe and go in slowly. Rushing is pleasure’s number one enemy. If something bothers you, stop, add lube and start again more slowly.

4. Not Just “In and Out”: Play With the Angle

The piston motion is fine, but the magic is usually in the angle. Tilting the tip towards the front wall you seek the G-spot (or the P-spot); try slow “come-hither” motions and sustained pressure, not just speed.

5. Hands-Free, If You Want to Go One Step Further

Once you get the hang of it, a suction cup base frees your hands so you can move yourself and combine with other areas. We explain it in the hands-free play guide.

6. When You Finish: Clean It

Lukewarm water and mild soap, and back to its place. Keeping it well is part of the enjoyment; the details are in the care guide.

Your First Piece

To start without stress, a platinum silicone piece in size S/M and medium firmness — like the Mother of Dragons — is an ideal first step. And if you’re unsure about the measurements, go over the size guide.
