Survival Manual: How to Clean and Care for Your Silicone Toys

You've just received your ClimaxLab order. You open the box, admire the shine of the silicone, feel the firmness... it's perfect. But did you know you can destroy this piece in less than 24 hours with a single mistake?

Platinum Silicone is an incredibly tough material (it withstands heat, pulling and the passage of time), but it has its own Kryptonite.

Today we teach you the 3 Commandments of Care so your collection stays with you for life, just like on day one.

1. Enemy No. 1: Silicone Lube

This is the most common mistake and the most fatal. Never, under any circumstances, use silicone-based lubricant with silicone toys.

• The Science: The chemistry is simple: "like dissolves like". If you apply silicone oil to a silicone dildo, the toy's surface will react, turn sticky, start to "melt" and lose its texture forever. There's no fixing it.
• The Solution: Always use Water-Based Lubricant. It's safe, easy to clean and respects the integrity of your Relics.

2. The Cleaning Ritual (Water, Soap and Fire)

Hygiene is part of the pleasure. Since they have no pores, cleaning our toys is very easy, but there are levels.

• Basic Cleaning (Before and after use): Warm water and neutral soap. Rub well with your hands (avoid scouring pads that could scratch the glossy surface) and rinse.
• Drying (Important): Use a lint-free towel or let it air dry. If you use toilet paper, it will stick and your dildo will look breaded.
• The Cornstarch "Refresh": If over time you notice the toy attracts a lot of dust, there's an artisan's trick: sprinkle a little cornstarch over the dry toy and spread it around. It will feel silky smooth and matte.

🔥 Expert Level: Sterilisation. Since we use medical-grade Platinum Silicone, you can boil your toys. Submerge them in a pot of boiling water for 3-5 minutes to kill any bacteria. Watch out! Don't let the toy touch the bottom of the pot directly (use a cloth or rack) to avoid burns from contact with the hot metal.

3. Storage: No "orgies" in the drawer

Keeping all your toys jumbled together in a messy drawer is a bad idea, especially if you mix materials.

• The Solitude Rule: Silicone doesn't get along with other cheap plastic materials (like TPE or jelly). If they touch for a long time, they can react chemically and melt into each other.
• Individual Bags: Store each Relic in its own fabric pouch (cotton or satin). This lets the material "breathe", protects it from dust and prevents unwanted rubbing.
